Golden Valley is a small community located in the northwestern part of Arizona, in Mohave County. As of the 2010 census, the population of Golden Valley was 4,515.

The area was originally settled in the late 1800s by Mormon pioneers and was known for agriculture and gold mining. Today, the economy of the area is largely based on tourism and outdoor recreation such as hiking, camping, and off-roading.

Golden Valley is located near several popular attractions such as Lake Mohave and the Colorado River. It is also a short drive from the city of Kingman, which offers more shopping and dining options.

The climate in Golden Valley is typically hot and dry, with summer temperatures often exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The area receives very little rainfall, and wildfires are a common concern during dry periods. Despite the challenging climate, many residents are drawn to the area for its natural beauty and outdoor opportunities.
