Growing up in Joliet, IL I was taught that a good work ethic, a strong moral compass and a college education would take me far and I have spent my life adhering to these qualities. I spent 25 years working in higher education helping students of all ages attain their goal of attaining a college education; whether as an instructor in the classroom, a student advisor or senior manager, I worked closely with students to overcome obstacles, create plans for success and listen to their needs to help them succeed. When higher education in Illinois began to face insurmountable challenges and my university closed, I took this as an opportunity to fulfill a long-standing dream to move to Scottsdale, AZ and take my focus of serving people in the education arena to real estate. After watching my husband create an incredibly successful real estate business in Chicagoland, based on the same ideals that I value, I knew it would be a great fit for my skill set and would give us the opportunity to expand to Scottsdale, where we could help many of our clients who were also transitioning out of Illinois to Arizona. Additionally, we loved the idea of spending more time in Arizona and enjoying all the year-round outdoor activities and exploring this new territory.
