A 6th generation East Sacramentan and trusted name in Real Estate for over three decades, Ed Gatejen brings an unparalleled breadth of experience and knowledge into each negotiation and transaction for his team and clients.


Ed left the family electrical engineering business at 25 years old to launch his real estate career. His first two years in the business, he knocked on over 36,000 doors which spurred him to early success as the Rookie of the Year his first year in the business. His commitment and dedication to get out in the community to meet and serve fueled over 1600 homes sales and rose Ed to the top of the industry.


After 6 years, Ed leveraged his expertise and experience to open his own brokerage. This allowed him to tap into his passion for coaching and training while sharing his vast wisdom to help form the next generation of agents. Through Eds mentorship, over 10 agents reached top 50 status on the MLS agent listings (out of 6500+ agents)...several breaking the top 10.


Ed also turned his talents towards real estate investing in residential, multi-family and retail. At the peak, he had ownership in 185 units while continuing to represent buyers, sellers and investors and growing his brokerage. Ed is now leading an expansion with a commercial division along with Intero Real Estate and Berkshire Hathaway.


Ed remains a dedicated member of the East Sacramento community and lives off the beloved McKinley Park. He is an avid soccer player and fan of the sport. When hes not coaching or negotiating, you can find Ed on the soccer field. Now his 6-year old grandson has taken up soccer, which is about the only time youll see Ed on the sidelines.
