In addition to real estate experience, I offer clients a wide range of successful business experience, am an engineer and have an MBA that I earned while working full time. I use my common sense, business and real estate experience to help my clients. In real estate I have handled many challenging transactions including: Land, Home, Probate, Auction, Foreclosure, Investment Property and Industrial Leases in San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles and Kern Counties. In addition to handling real estate transactions I provide clients experience working in and managing complex residential and industrial restoration and improvement construction projects.I put my clients interests first and help them achieve their goals in either buying or selling real estate. My career began working as a machinist and engineering technician working on aerospace, automotive and defense projects. While earning an engineering degree I worked part time for firms such as General Electric, Johnson Controls and Zurn Industries. After earning a BSME degree I joined the Westinghouse Air Brake Company (WABTEC) in their Washington, DC offices and progressively advanced my role from a field engineer into a key employee with profit and loss responsibility for the Southern California area including a stand alone re-manufacturing center I established and managed.In 2002 it was time to expand experiences into the public sector by taking on the challenge of creating new technical education programs for San Bernardino Valley College. As a dynamic administrator I created a substantial transportation industry training center encompassing 9,000 square feet of training space allowing local students to gain access to gainful employment in the logistics, railway and trucking industries. In 2008 I created South Sequoia LLC and from there I kept the company profitably active in areas of my expertise through consulting and real estate investing and property management. As with many ventures one thing leads to another and as more and more people who knew me asked me to handle their real estate challenges I simply fell into becoming a real estate broker. Something I thought I'd never enjoy but discovered I do. I believe in the importance of active participation in your community and professions. I am an active member of the East Valley Association of Realtors, former Board Director of the Southern California Distribution Management Association and served two terms as President of a local Rotary Club. I enjoy the outdoors and the challenges of outdoor journeys. I've climbed Mount Whitney, solo backpacked across the Sierra Nevadas and am frequently hiking, biking, skiing or paddling in the great California outdoors. I have fortunately enjoyed extended travel experiences in Europe, Costa Rica and China including Chinas interior Ningxia province. I am happily (and very fortunately!) married to Sandy Sui Anderson who is a Registered California Professional Engineer involved in designing municipal water systems.
