Abra Rider is a Realtor with 25 years of experience in the Real Estate industry. Born in North San Diego County, Abra became interested in Real Estate at a young age while helping her grandfather with his rental properties.
Recently, Abra was awarded Most units sold by an individual agent in 2019 out of 900+ agents with Big Block Realty. She has been a recipient of San Diego Magazines 5 Star Professional Award each year since 2015. She received the Real Estate Circle of Excellence Award from the Greater San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR), and was listed in the San Diego Union Tribune as one of the top producing Real Estate Agents in San Diego County for 2017 & 2019.
Abra is committed to ongoing education, strong community involvement, and a high standard of ethics and integrity in the industry. She was one of the first Real Estate professionals to earn the Risk Mitigation Specialist (RMS) Certification through North San Diego County Association of Realtors (NSDCAR). Abra has been a member of the NSDCAR Professional Standards Committee since 2014, participating in hearings related to violations of the Realtors Code of Ethics and arbitration of financial disputes. She is also trained in mediation and serves as an Ombudsman for the Association helping to resolve issues between parties before they escalate to the point of a formal complaint.
Abra enjoys having a career where every day holds a new challenge. She says I love being a problem solver. I see 3 sides to every argument, which helps when trying to get to the heart of an issue and create a solution that benefits all parties. I believe in treating everyone with honesty, kindness, and respect no matter what. When people ask about my family I tell them - my clients are my kids. They set the task ahead of us; I educate a little, support a lot, and together we achieve their goals. I am their unwavering advocate, tenacious negotiator, and a stickler for the details. Typically by the end of the transaction I have added another member to my extended family.
