Kat Ryan grew up in Oklahoma. After graduating from University of Oklahoma she followed her dream of moving to San Francisco. Later she and her husband found the ideal place to start a family, beautiful Marin County, where they raised two sons in Mill Valley.

"I always enjoyed helping people and loved architecture and marketing, so a career selling real estate was a perfect fit," Kat says. Kat's success comes from her caring attitude toward her clients and a focused ability to coordinate all aspects of todays sophisticated transactions. She directs a strong team in all areas from staging, financing and the latest online marketing through the successful close of escrow. With an established record of 30 years, Kat's clients know all details will be handled impeccably when working with her.

Kat served as Tam/Homestead Design Review Boards real estate expert for five years reviewing residential and commercial projects. As Vice Chair, Kat explains, There were many tough negotiations with developers, including moderating Marin Horizon's expansion, scaling back a proposed 5-story hotel near Mill Valley's heliport and working with Howard Johnson's Master Plan for a new restaurant and offices. I found my real estate expertise and negotiating skills very useful in reaching agreements between parties." Kat currently serves on the Architectural Committee for design review in South Gate in Hamilton in Novato.

Kat and her husband also own and manage Hawaii Resort Rentals, a vacation rental business and find time to enjoy their vacation home in Waikoloa Beach Resort on Hawaii's Big Island.

Kat specializes in buyer, cottage, estates, investment, homestead, marin, vintage, water, view and hamilton transactions.
