Maya Crelan Ray

I understand that buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction: its a life-changing experience. Thats why I am dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized service to every client. I take great pride in the relationships I build and will work relentlessly my clients behalf to help them achieve their real estate goals.

I was born and raised in Mendocino County. My father was a real estate broker, with his own company, who listed and sold mostly rural properties.

I moved to Santa Cruz in 1998 to attend the University of California, Santa Cruz where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies. I met my now husband, a local surfer, in 2003, and we were married in 2012. We are raising our daughter on the West Side of Santa Cruz in my husbands childhood home.

In 2013, I received a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from San Jose State University. I have experience working with both the City and County of Santa Cruz Planning Departments. Through this experience I have gained valuable experience and knowledge of local planning and land use policies and procedures.

In my downtime I enjoy being with my family and traveling. I have traveled extensively in Baja Sur, where we have formed ties with the community of Pescadero and own property. As a family we enjoy the outdoors, including bike rides on West Cliff, visiting various parks and berry picking in Corralitos.
