Born and raised in the Golden State to an immigrant father, a young and eager entrepreneur, who in his own way pioneered the flipping industry in the 70s and 80s. Buying, fixing, selling, renting, quickly turned into our my family motto. As a young teenager I spent my weekends and summers driving through neighborhoods looking for the next flipping gem.
At 23 years of age, I joined the United States Marine Corps and fell in love with its core values of honor, courage, and commitment. The idea of living to service others was chiseled into my character. What was suppose to be a 4 year enlistment turned into 23 years of services to our nation and its people.
On the 4th of January, 2001 I met the love of my life, we were married exactly 1 year and a day later. Within the year we purchased our first home together using my Veterans Association home loan benefit, our first home with zero down. This one program, has proven itself invaluable in the past 18 years for my family. It was and still is the conduit that has allowed me to reach financial stability, community-belonging, and a self-empowerment of my own future as well as my familys; as my father did for his so many years ago.
