I grew up in the San Joaquin Valley (Dos Palos) on a small dairy. My siblings and I learned to help our parents milk the cows and do all the other chores that are part of daily life on a farm. Some of my favorite times were visits to my aunt Nora, who lived in a small mountain town. I fell in love with aunt Nora's town and hoped I would someday live in just such a charming, historical locale. Before my husband John and I sold our ag-related business in Firebaugh, we purchased some acreage just above Mariposa. It was close enough to visit on weekends, and after a time we drilled the well, brought our travel trailer, and spent weekends and other free time enjoying our property and getting to know Mariposa. Finally, in 1995 we sold that property and bought our dream home near Midpines. In 1999, we were able to move here full-time. If your dream is to live in a small, scenic, friendly town, I know how to do that. Give me a call!
