A Trinity County native, Retta Treanor was born & raised in Hayfork, CA. Alongside her parents and five siblings, she grew up in the mountains, off the grid. Performing and singing in the family band; her humble beginnings etched into who she is today.
From an early age, it was clear that she had qualities and a belief system that would take her to a place of success and in a position to help others. Determination and compassion are some of those qualities that have guided her to today, where she now celebrates the 20th anniversary of Big Valley Properties; 20 years of supporting the communities she loves; 16 years as the Top Selling Brokerage; over 800 transactions closed, and now a total of 23 years of making peoples dreams become reality through the buying and selling process.
In addition to her extensive experience, Retta holds the highest credential awarded to Residential sales agents, managers, and brokers; a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation.
Far from a Realtor who simply helps buy and sell homes, she is passionate about helping others; helping her community. She isnt just your Local Realtor, she becomes your friend. Currently, the President of the Trinity County Association of Realtors; an active board member for the Hayfork Roderick Senior Center; creating Scholarship Programs to support our youths education and monetary contributions throughout Trinity County; community, along with family and her faith, is always at the top of her list.
When she isnt in the office providing support and guidance to her team or out in the trenches with clients; Retta enjoys spending time with her husband of 30 years, Troy Treanor; family dinners and game nights, gardening, cooking and paddleboarding on the Trinity and Lewiston Lakes.
