I am a longtime resident of Chicago, having moved to the Windy City when I was seven years old. In 1994 I relocated to San Francisco, and moved back to Chicago in late 1999. I currently reside on the northwest side of Chicago in the Sauganash neighborhood.
I graduated Cum Laude from Illinois State University with a Finance degree and Economics minor. I am a charter member of the ISU chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, the highest academic recognition given to business students.
I worked for many years in the cellular telecommunications industry and the credit services industry in positions of client support, systems training, project management and process management. My diverse business background, familiarity with technology and client focus have served me well since my transition to real estate in 2003.
I am also involved in my community I serve on the Board of Directors of the Edgebrook Sauganash Chamber of Commerce and Im also a board member of North Branch Arts in Edgebrook. I served on the board of the Sauganash Community Association for many years, along with serving two years as President of that organization, and Im currently on their Advisory Board. I am a member of the Peterson-Pulaski Business and Industrial Council as well as the Sauganash Design Committee. I also serve as Treasurer of the Sauganash Mural Project, the group responsible for the design and installation of the mosaic mural on Peterson Ave in the Sauganash neighborhood.
On a more personal note, I love bicycling and I participate every summer in the RAGBRAI bike ride across Iowa. I also have a 1966 Cadillac named Eleanor which I purchased in San Francisco in 1999. One of my passions is greyhound adoption. Ive always loved dogs, and I adopted my first retired racing greyhound, Chloe, in 1999 while I lived in San Francisco. Since that time I adopted two other greyhounds, a female (True) and a male (Kevin). Since greyhound awareness and adoption are important to me I donate a portion of my commission from each real estate transaction to the Midwest Greyhound Adoption organization.
