A second generation real estate practitioner Melissa grew up in Marin going to work at the family real estate brokerage in Stinson Beach while still in high school. Consequently she has learned the real estate business from the ground up. After receiving her real estate license in 1997 Melissa continued to hone her skills at the family company learning not just what it takes to sell real estate but the inner workings of the real estate company as well.

In 2003 Melissa moved her real estate practice 'over the hill' in order to focus her career in the community she calls home. Melissa now focuses her real estate energy on Southern Marin and the Ross Valley while maintaining a close relationship with the community of Stinson Beach. Melissa lives in Mill Valley with her husband, a photographer, their two daughters and a dog. She is active in the community and sits on the boards of Southern Marin Mothers Club, Pixie Park and the Discovery Council.

Before receiving her bachelor's degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University Melissa graduated from Tamalpais High School and is looking forward to sending her daughters there as well. In her spare time Melissa can often be found walking one of the many trails on Mount Tamalpais with her family or at one of the many local parks.

Melissa believes that the client comes first in any real estate transaction; after all, without you it just would not happen! "The purchase or sale of a home is such a large part of our lives and I am honored to share the journey with you. Getting to know your likes and dislikes, the members of your family and your cares and concerns is such a big part of this process and each time I feel like I have made a new friend. I am not interested in the quick sale, but rather building a lifelong relationship with each client."
