I have worked in the real estate industry since 1987, first in the Bay Area and then made the move to the Sierra Foothills in Calaveras County, where Ive resided since 2002. The most rewarding part of real estate is helping people find the perfect home for my clients and hearing the joy in their voice when I tell them their offer has been accepted. In these challenging real estate times, where over-bidding is common practice, my goal is to employ strategies that will help them have their offer accepted and at the least amount of cost to them. When dealing with multiple offer situations, that is sometimes challenging and impossible not to over-bid in order to have your offer accepted but there are other terms that are favorable to the seller that you can employ in order to win. Lately, my work has led me to coordinate listing and selling a home for my clients and at the same time, finding them a replacement property. The coordination of the two escrows has somewhat made me an expert in this area, regarding the timing and terms offered. Helping my sellers get free rent-back if they need it while finding a replacement home, and highest offer and best terms is always my goal, while at the same time, finding a great replacement property that theyre happy with, at a reasonable selling price.
