Laura Lee has been a long time resident of Siskiyou County, having moved here in 1996 with her husband, to raise theirfamily in a homesteading lifestyle. Together, theyraised two sons on a small farm outside of Montague. After her boyswere grown and on their own, Laura Leemade the move from working in healthcare, tobegan a new career in real estate.
Outside of real estate, she enjoyspainting, making goat milk soaps and lotions, and gardening. On her farm, she raises beef cows, dairy goats, chickens, peafowl, geese, pigs and turkeys. She is able to produce all of the meat her family eats, as wellas most of the dairy, and a good portion of the vegetables. She and her husbandalso planteda small orchard where they growapple, cherryand peach trees.
