(www.jimirvingwww) I hold the GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) & CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations and have been in this office since 1992. I'm a native of Paso Robles, raised on a cattle ranch (even attended a 1 room schoolhouse...back in the days!), I went east to college, (BA Harvard University) then the Navy, Assistant Legal Officer, USS Enterprise), then lived&travelled in Africa for a time, came home and discovered the Grand Canyon. Became a boatman on the Colorado guiding trips until I met my wife, the artist Anne Laddon (www.anneladdonwww)&we started our family.I have twice been President of the Paso Robles Association of Realtors and was selected as "Realtor of the Year" in 2003 & again in 2009.I have served as a Director of the California Association of Realtors & was Chairman of the Land Use & Environmental Committee in 2006, and of the Issues Mobilization PAC in 2009.I am known locally for my expertise in agricultural properties and recreational lands around Lakes Nacimiento & San Antonio, and I also am very knowledgeable about the residential housing market in Northern San Luis Obispo & Southern Monterey Counties.I am a native of the Paso Robles area, but have travelled & lived around the world.
