Real estate agent Luis Galdamez has more than 26 years of experience in the San Diego area market. That experience is what backs up his motto: To help clients with their real estate needs professionally, throughout every step of the process of selling or buying a home.
He got his start in real estate in Burbank, California, moving to San Diego in 1990, where hes chalked up hundreds of successful home sales for clients ever since. His focus has been the coastal areas, from Oceanside to National City, specializing in Clairemont/Mission Bay, Bay Park and the Cardiff/Encinitas areas.
Now with Allison James Estates & Homes, Luis is using his extensive knowledge of the local market to also work with higher-end properties in La Jolla, Del Mar, Mission Hills and the Ranch.
He has seen the real estate market move through several rounds of ups and downs, building a successful career throughout all the changes. Before joining Allison James, Luis was with RE/MAX Associates. During his 20 years there he won both the Lifetime Achievement and Hall of Fame awards. Luis got his initial training in real estate at Century 21, where he launched his career.
Originally from El Salvador, Luis moved to California in 1980, graduating from high school and going on to college studies here.
His beautiful daughter Sophia was born in 2000, and as a father, its been very important to Luis to see she gets a good education. Besides spending time with his daughterand cheering her on at her volleyball tournaments--Luis enjoys taking full advantage of the San Diego lifestyle when work allows; his hobbies include meditating, mountain biking, jogging and surfing.
Luis uses the same energy and enthusiasm with which he tackles a wave to work at giving his clients the best all-around service possible. And the experience and practical knowledge gained from years of successfully negotiating the local market mean he can foresee and avoid a lot of potential problems. Listening is vital, says Luis, not only for successful negotiations, but to be able to help my clients with what they need. Along with listening, hard work, experience and a keen desire to serve clients and his community are part of what he brings to every successful transaction.
