Deborah was born in St. Louis Mo. and spent much of her childhood moving between California and Colorado. She met and married her husband of thirty years in Grand Junction, Colorado. There they started a family.

In 1996 Fred and Deborah moved their four kids to La Veta where Fred accepted the position of Youth Pastor at Spanish Peaks Chruch. Over the next twenty-two years, Fred and Deborah continued making memories in the are with their family; enjoying hunting, fishing, hiking, and scouting for wildlife to photograph. They have spent much of their time volunteering in the community with the school, 4H, County Fair Board, and many other youth programs and activity through their church.

Deborahs husband Fred is now the pastor of Spanish Peaks Church and together they work serving the people of Huerfano county, in particular, the children and teens of our community, taking any that are able to youth camps and mission trips each year. In her free time, Deborah is a professional cake decorator and enjoys creating cakes for all different occasions.

After being mostly a stay at home mom for the past thirty years and with their last child graduating from high school, Deborah decided to try something new and go into Real Estate. As she began to contemplate this big life change, she watched as Code of The West began to grow in size and reputation, and knew it would be a great fit due to their similar values, integrity, and community involvement. Deborah is overjoyed to be joining the team at Code of The West and is looking forward to helping you find the perfect home or piece of property!
