In 1988, when I got my real estate license, I was a newly single mom of 3 little boys under school age. Long hours spent in the competitive field of residential real estate meant I had very little time with them. In late 1989 I delivered a stroller I had advertised for sale and the woman who bought it told me about an opportunity in the booming mountain land sales business which, due to their unique business model, would allow me more time with my young ones. I interviewed, it was a perfect fit, and I was hired! In January of 1990 I started my long-term love affair with marketing mountain properties for the two largest land developers in Southern Colorado.
In 2006 I was ready to jump back into the residential side of the business and started Colorado Land & Homes. I immersed myself in classes to get up-to-speed and have been active in both markets since.
