My name is Nicole Sorensen. I become a Realtor because I love Durango and the surrounding areas. I love helping others, and am eager to help people realize their dream of home ownership. The process of buying or selling a home can seem daunting, which is why I am here to make it an easy and smooth process. With my help, the real estate transaction can be a breeze. I am the 2017 Durango Area Association of Realtors Rookie of the Year. I am also the 2017 Best of Durango runner up for Real Estate agents.
I grew up in Parker, Colorado and was very involved with my community, my high school, and with horses. I graduated as student body president as well as class president. Ever since I can remember I have been involved with horses. All the way from taking lessons to eventually giving lessons. Horses have been a huge part of my life and a huge part in molding me into who I am today. I love barrel racing, camping and fishing with my husband, and activities that allow me to be outside.
I first visited to Durango in July 2011 and absolutely fell in love with the town, culture, and everything that Durango has to offer. I decided to transfer to Fort Lewis College to finish my degree in Business Management. I am so thankful that I did because I could not imagine living and raising a family anywhere else.
