Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, I developed a love for the outdoors. After obtaining a Business Finance degree from The Ohio State University I traveled and worked in Europe. Upon returning, I realized I wanted to live in the mountains and decided to move to Steamboat Springs in the Fall of 1991. After my first winter here I had to check out the great summers everyone spoke about. Of course after that first summer, I was hooked, and have been here ever since.

I have worked as an appraiser, and was a mortgage broker for a number of years in Steamboat. I also managed a small furniture manufacturing company and have assisted in building several homes around town. After another stint working in Europe, I returned to manage and be head guide for a mountain guide business, for 13 years, taking guests on many adventures around the area. In addition, I am a certified snowboard instructor, and taught for 16 years. I got back into real estate in 2006 and am now a broker with MR Realty (Mountain Resorts Realty), which is a division of Resort Group, which also includes Mountain Resorts, Pioneer Ridge, Simply Steamboat (vacation rental mgmt.) and Steamboat Association Management (HOA mgmt.)

I feel my extensive knowledge and love for the Steamboat area, along with my finance and construction background can help you with all your real estate needs. Steamboat is a very special place, not just the beauty that surrounds us, but the community and the people who make it their home. There is nothing more rewarding to me than to show people all the great things about Steamboat.
