Originally from the San Francisco Bay area, Deborah received her Bachelors degree at the University of Oregon in 1992. She first experienced the San Juan Islands in 1993, spending a summer on San Juan Island before moving Telluride, Colorado where she spent the next 14 years. In 2007, she returned to the Pacific Northwest with her young family, choosing Orcas Island for its thriving community and its unique access to mountain trails and the sea. Deborah brings design and homebuilding experience along with vitality and a fresh approach to Orcas Island real estate. She has vast knowledge of the homebuilding process; from initial design, budgeting, permitting, to interior finishes. She has a creative eye for staging and marketing a home in order to put it in its best light as well as a fine-tuned business sense and great attention to detail. Deborah takes full advantage of Orcas Islands natural beauty running through its magnificent trails and spends time photographing its incredible landscapes and wildlife. Deborah is active in the community serving as commissioner on the Orcas Island Parks and Recreation District board, volunteering at Orcas public schools as well as a participating as an artist in the Orcas Island Artist Studio Tour.
