Cynthia Rodriguez, Real Estate Broker since 2004, formed The Property Shop of CT in 2011 with one mission in mind: To change the way Real Estate is done in the First Time Homebuyer and Rental Market. After working with several Real Estate Companies, Cynthia noticed that the first time homebuyers were not being educated or informed on how to purchase their first home. She quickly noticed that there was a high concentration of first time homebuyers and renters in Hartford and saw the need to have a Real Estate firm that was truly passionate and dedicated to assisting the community.
With her mission in mind, Cynthia became focused on implementing her concept the right way, and her motto became very clear, its simple: SERVICE before SALES! This motto has led her to her success in the industry and throughout the community. Cynthias passion resonates through her team members. She has created a firm where every employee is individually committed to providing exceptional service while cultivating strong client relationships. Together Cynthia and her team have extended their services throughout the community where her vision and dedication is evident in the expertise being delivered to every client.
Cynthia is committed to give back to the community through her influence in the Real Estate industry. Currently she is creating a network of professionals not only to exchange ideas and services, but, to spread the word about giving back. She has recently partnered with two non-profit organizations; Urban League and HART (Hartford Areas Rally Together) based in Hartford. With both organizations she serves as a volunteer educator on First Time Home Buying and Landlord Ownership Workshops. In these workshops, Cynthia ensures that the participants truly understand the important steps that can help or hinder their home buying process and guides them through the many programs available to them.
