My story: after retiring from a 20-year career as an Adult Probation Officer in the Connecticut Judicial Department, I began a new career as a realtor. While maintaining inherent guiding principles of honesty, integrity, and plain common sense, I've transferred skills gleaned from working in the criminal justice system to real estate. I investigate houses and neighborhoods for buyers, I track down and screen buyers for sellers, and maintain laser focus on my clients' priorities. Having sharp negotiation and problem-solving expertise along with a high degree of emotional intelligence always puts my clients at ease. I'm no stranger to hard work and as an organizer I have been known to roll up my sleeves to help pack up, clean up and get people moved (even when they are stuck, or in another state!). This comes in handy for everyone, but especially for my senior clientele, with whom I specialize. I am also a Certified Aging in Place Specialist---for those who are not quite ready to move, I assess the home and make recommendations for safety and ease of living. Finally, my art school background comes in handy when clients need a designing eye, or advice on staging a home. No matter the job, I get it done!!!
