Michelle lives in a significant 18th century schoolhouse that is individually registered, a constant project of restoration, and that she shares with her husband and their greyhound. She fell in love with Newport when she came to visit her parents who had a summer home in Newport. With a degree from Columbia University in Historic Preservation, Michelle decided to use her academic background to help buyers and sellers facilitate a seamless, enjoyable & rewarding real estate transaction. When she has any unusual questions, she reaches out to her twin, Mark Jarzombek, a dean of architecture at MIT. Michelle was the 2010 President of the NCBR, the 2012 NCBR Realtor of the Year, the 2012 President of the WCR, Newport and Kent Washington Chapter and 2017 Gloria Slavens Award winner. She served for over a decade on the Newport Historic District Commission, as President of the Hill Association and volunteers extensively for local charities. Michelle has had articles in the CRS magazine, Inman News and a NAR podcast. Michelle loves to travel, or hang out on their Quickstep sailboat enjoying the ocean breezes of Narragansett Bay.
