Waterbury is a city located in New Haven County in the state of Connecticut, United States. It has a rich history dating back to the early 1700s, when it was first established as a town.
In the late 1800s, Waterbury became a hub of brass manufacturing, earning it the nickname "Brass City". The city was home to several well-known brass companies, including the Waterbury Clock Company and the Scovill Manufacturing Company.
