David s passion and expertise in real estate occurred naturally and was inevitable. His family developed and managed a Comfort Inn and Suites in York County in 1990. He was practically raised in the hotel business, educating himself with hands-on experience of the valuable qualities necessary for the hospitality industry, customer service, management, and sales. After attending Penn State York to study communications and business administration, David owned and operated a successful entertainment company and a commercial painting/finishing company. These experiences enhanced his knowledge of the construction industry and the ins and outs of the social scene of York. David also spent some time in Atlanta, Georgia. While initially transferred there to fix previous sub-par guest scores for a Marriott Residence Inn in Midtown, he later entered into automotive sales at one of the largest dealerships on the East Coast when a desire for something other than the hospitality industry started to present itself. To enhance his skills and to be most effective, he enrolled into the intensive schooling at the MAADA, specializing in sales and negotiation tactics, and graduated at the top of his class. It was not until 2007 that the opportunity for David to become a Realtor presented itself. As it would turn out...David s past career background and experiences provided him with all the necessary qualities, plus many extra relevant traits to be an Incredibly Effective, Hard Working, Knowledgeable, Honest, and Well-Versed real estate agent for Central Pennsylvania and David's fellow Pennsylvanians. David also provides an "agent finding" service across the rest of the world, where he will research and interview agents to find one of a similar caliber to himself, to be provided to a client with real estate needs outside of David's area of practice. You may also find him Crooning some old standards at some of Downtown York's finer establishments if you're lucky enough to catch him. As a resident of York County since 1990, David Van Arsdale Jr. is truly a local area specialist. With his almost 30 years of first-hand knowledge of the community, prior career expertise, and a genuine honest passion for helping others, David is the complete package for helping you with your real estate needs...ANYWHERE!!!To share his local expertise with the community, David created a Facebook group called York County Know It Alls , a portal to gain information as to what is amazing and special in York County and the surrounding area that typically only locals would know. The group page has taken a life of its own and is quite popular in the York community.
