I moved to Inverness, Florida in 1989. Things were VERY different back then! The highway ran through the business district downtown and there was nothing even like an Applebees! My husband and I had two children and they were raised here in Citrus County. Boating and fishing on Big and Little Lake Spivey was a favorite family pastime and camping at Natures Resort in Homosassa was a monthly treat. And, oh boy, when they paved the rails to trails our world of nature really opened up! I started my career in real estate sales with a mortgage brokers license. After years of residential sales, I partnered with a local builder to expand their sales from under a dozen homes per year to over 75 new starts per year. Since then I have been selling commercial properties in the area to include restaurants, office buildings, retail buildings, multi-family apartments and warehouses in addition to hundreds of residential homes.
