Candice Jones Land is a fourth generation Suwannee County resident. She graduated from Suwannee High school and received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Saint Leo University in Gainesville. Candice returned to Live Oak after college and was an elementary/ESE teacher for 21 years. She is married to Leon Land and they have two children.
On weekends, Candice enjoys spending time with the family; boating on the Suwannee River, salt water fishing and scalloping in nearby Steinhatchee and Keaton Beach, paddle boarding, UTV riding and watching her boys play sports. Other interests include reading and spending summers in the Florida Keys.
