I am a native of Jacksonville, FL having graduated from Bishop Kenny High School. I also graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Journalism and Communications and more recently I graduated from the University of Phoenix with an M.A. in Organizational Management.For my entire 35 year career, I have been in the publishing and telecommunications industries. Early on in my career, I joined the Florida Times Union and worked in multiple geographic areas of Jacksonville including Downtown, Springfield, Riverside/Avondale, Southside and Orange Park. After 10 years, I left the newspaper business to join the upstart cellular industry where I have been ever since. Initially I managed the local office of Cellular One for many years, but for the for the last several years I have been with Cell-Tel, a small woman-owned business where I sold cellular network equipment to the U.S. government and military as well as to all of the major cellular carrier operators including AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile. Lastly, I taught courses in marketing, management and communications for a few years as an Adjunct Instructor at the local campus of the University of Phoenix. Throughout my career, I have had direct responsibilities for selling in the markets of business-to-consumer, business-to-business, and business-to-government. My background includes consumer sales and major account sales as well as implementing marketing campaigns and new product launches, preparing proposals and presentations, organizational management, and professional training and development. These are many of the same essential skill sets that are critical to being a successful Realtor in the North Florida market.
