A southwest Florida residential specialist for over 17 years, Marty Warren thoroughly enjoys the world of real estate. Beyond her energy and enthusiasm for the business, she is described by clients as the consummate people person, a good listener and communicator, and a stickler for detail and follow through in every deal she makes. Marty is part of The Baskind Warren Group, a full-time experienced team known for its forward-thinking, expert negotiating skills, creative and well-targeted marketing, and commitment to ongoing education via affiliations with ABR, GRI, SAR, NAR and FAR. She and her partner Carmen Baskind specialize in "Gulf to golf" houses and condos, concentrating on the islands, mainland Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, University Park and Palmer Ranch. The Baskind Warren Group strives to make the journey of purchasing or selling real estate a rewarding and exciting experience for their clients. Prior to entering real estate, Marty and her husband Steve owned and managed two gourmet restaurants, an experience which developed her keen business sense and customer service skills. She also worked for 10 years as Development Director for a private secondary school in Maine where she honed her leadership, communication and event planning abilities. Born in Cambridge, MA and raised in southern Maine, Marty holds a BA from Skidmore College in New York. She also has a Teaching Certificate from the University of Maine, and a Certificate from the Sorbonne in Paris. Marty and her husband are the parents of three grown children and have lived happily in Tortoise Estates on Siesta since 1998 enjoying the deeded beach access to Turtle Beach and the overall relaxed island feel. They are also still closely tied to their New England roots where they have a property. For pleasure, Marty enjoys the cultural arts of Sarasota, golf and tennis, plus volunteers for the Women's Exchange and various events at Selby Gardens in Sarasota.
