After graduating from college in Maryland, Karen began work in advertising as a media buyer, then went on to be a REALTOR and sales manager for new homes sales. After working as a show manager / producer with Industrial Shows of America for several years, she and husband Joey started their own business, Marathon Productions. Their company produced several boat shows and trade events in Maryland and Virginia until the early two thousands. Then they started building and selling homes in Maryland. Karen and Joey purchased their first Keys home in Key Colony Beach in two thousand and one, then moved here full time in two thousand nine. In two thousand twelve they built a new home in Key Colony.
Now with 30 years of sales and marketing experience and working diligently with sellers and buyers, she has consistently sold seven to ten million-plus a year. She was named Rookie of the Year in 2011 by the Marathon and Lower Keys Association of Realtors. Since December of 2010 she has been the top sales agent in SOLD transactions in Key Colony Beach as well as one of American Caribbean Real Estates top producers since she started with us in 2010.

Over 25 million sold in 2016 & every year she continues to be the top selling realtor in sales and listings on Key Colony, and in the top 2-3 in the Middle Keys.
