As a Business Operations Consultant for over 20 years, Karen was introduced to the Brevard Real Estate industry when she accepted a consulting contract with a local Brokerage in 2014. After working remotely from South Florida for over a year, she relocated to the Rockledge/Viera area in 2016 and then decided to make a bold career move and became licensed as a Florida Real Estate Agent in 2017.
Being a Realtor would prove to have obstacles she would need to overcome but Karen was no stranger to obstacles. She was born with a degenerative hearing loss and relied on lip reading for the better part of her life as she navigated through the hearing world virtually in silence. She was diagnosed as profoundly deaf in 2004, yet even she didnt believe that because her brain had already learned to compensate for what she couldnt hear.
Seven years she is still loving her career change and feeling Blessed by the people she has met and the friendships that have been built with her clients. When he is not helping someone to buy or sell a home, she is advocating for Canine Companions, a non-profit organization where she was partnered with Hearing Dog Brandy, developing program ideas for her own non-profit or spending time in South Florida with her children and grandchildren.
Life is about making a difference and I try each and every day to impact someones life. Real Estate allows me that opportunity. I truly love helping my clients find the perfect house and helping to ease the anxieties of what can be a stressful process. My clients are my number one priority, whether they are renting a 1 bedroom apartment or buying a million dollar home!
