After spending two weeks on the Suncoast in the winter of 1979, my Canadian-born husband and I made the decision to move to Sarasota that same fall attracted by the weather, the beaches and the growing arts community and we never looked back. Born and raised in Latrobe, PA, I possess a BA in Speech and Theater from Seton Hill College (now University) in Greensburg, PA. I moved to Victoria, BC (which was described as the "Sarasota of Canada" by a fellow Pennsylvanian) where I studied under full fellowship and received an MFA degree in Theater (Directing). There I met my husband Michael, the "love of my life" - I don't hold it against him that he moved me to Edmonton, Alberta shortly after we married - otherwise, I wouldn't have ended up here selling real estate on the beautiful Suncoast of Florida!!! I have transferred the communication skills I learned in the world of theater and teaching to the world of real estate. Successful transactions are all about successful communication and building relationships!
