I grew up in another beach town but it was up north where it gets cold (Rehoboth Beach Delaware). Now I live almost the same distance to the beach as I did as a kid but NO snow.
I visited St. Augustine as a kid and then later on even when I was living in Arizona but never had a chance to visit in the summer months. Little did I know that summers in St. Augustine are one of the best kept secrets - it's hotter up north most days of the summer than it is in St. Augustine.
My previous lifetime before moving to Florida was in the computer business. I started my own company just about the time the IBM PC came out and became a jack of all trades in the PC business. Some time after that, I joined with another guy and formed a software company providing time & billing software to accountants and CPA's.
I enjoy Island living, woodworking, running on the beach, reading, and just about everything to do with computers.
Most of all I really enjoy introducing people to St. Augustine and what a truly unique and wonderful place it is to call home!
