Born and raised in The Netherlands, Andre studied economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, majoring in marketing and finance. During his studies, Andre completed a grad school summer course at MSU (Michigan State; GO SPARTANS!!) .After his studies, Andre met his soon to be wife Julie from Massachusetts and after their wedding they moved to the USA. Originally in Chicago, and after that in Boston where Andre worked in International Sales and Channel Management for several high tech companies.When the Internet bubble shattered, Andre packed up his family and moved to Sanibel. Andre's three children, Sam, Daisy and Ben are all attending The Sanibel School. Andre is an active parent and coaches soccer, baseball and football. Prior to moving to Sanibel, Andre and his wife Julie had been coming to Southwest Florida for 18 years. Andre earned his Sanibel & Captiva Islands Specialist designation and as a full time resident he knows the islands very well! Try me, you won't regret it.
