My name is Brandy Brown- I am the Broker/Owner of Southern Choice Properties, the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors North Walton Director, a Florida Realtors State Director, and the Chairwoman of the DeFuniak Springs City Limits Planning Board, although among all my many titles, my favorite will always be wife and mom.
I was 20 years old when I started my real estate career in 2005. I survived the real estate market crash in 2008 and was still determined to get my Brokers license, which I did in 2011 and started Southern Choice Properties before my 26th birthday. I currently have a team of 13, which includes my husband Steve Brown as our Sales Manager who is also licensed, our office manager Brandy Frazier who handles our day to day and ten sales associates. We have sold almost 800 properties in Walton, Okaloosa & Holmes County, Florida. I strive every day to set the example for my daughters, but also to encourage and inspire women from all over North Florida to work hard for their dreams, grow into leadership positions both in their businesses and in our community.
My original goals were to build a successful business and provide financially for my family. With the never-ending support of my husband, we have been able to do that. Now we are looking forward to accomplishing new goals. This year, our focus is on teaching our children about volunteerism and serving our community that we love so much. We believe that volunteerism is so much more than donating money to a good cause. Although that is a great place to start, we feel that we can do so much more in giving our time and physical efforts. I want our children to know and experience true service, cleaning at the Ronald McDonald House, reading to classrooms and fully being present for others.
Southern Choice Properties provides the following services:
For Buyers- we provide free buyer consultations where we help you as the buyer, connect with a lender to get preapproved and we move forward to helping you find a home that you want to buy by doing private showings, we handle making the offer and negotiations, once we are under contract we walk you through each step of inspections, the appraisal, working through contingencies and getting you successfully to the closing table. We then work to make sure that our relationship does not end at the closing table!
For Sellers- We provide seller strategy sessions where we tour your home and give you value for your home, while also giving ideas on how to make your home sell for the most amount of money. Once we list your home, we handle all the marketing, all of the showing requests and help you to negotiate any offers that come in and once we go under contract, we assist the buyers representation in getting the buyer to the closing table while making sure that you as our seller is taken care of. Once again, we do not want that relationship to end at the closing table either.
Property Management- We also offer property owners and investors an opportunity to take a hands-off approach to real estate investment and rentals. We tour the home, give a rental value, handle the marketing, show the home in an open house environment, screen the tenants, collect the necessary documents, present the applications to you for tenant selection, pre-move in inspections, handling the lease, rent collection and payment. We are the face for the entirety of the lease, and anything that the tenant needs they come to us.
