A native of St. Petersburg, FL, I grew up on the Pinellas beaches. I am not sure that I fully appreciated my incredible good fortune to live in a city where everyone gets a free newspaper if the sun doesn't shine! It took a decade away to make me truly and deeply appreciate home. I loved my ten wonderful years of living in bonnie Scotland, with my husband Bobby and four kids. We were fortunate enough to be involved in professional soccer, providing me with the opportunity to travel all over Scotland, meeting loads of great people and experiencing the fabulous countryside. But, as much as I loved Scotland and the people, I was happy to return home to St. Pete Beach, my American family and my native roots! I love the fact that the sun shines every day. I never tire listening to the surf at night; and, I am always awed by the view as I cross the bridge and see the beautiful island of St Pete Beach spread out before me!
When the Property Market was exploding, I was working as the Sales and Marketing Director for Coral Point Homes, who at the height of the market had 300 million worth of multi-family projects in Florida. In that capacity I also worked closely with the General Contractor and Sub-Contractors to establish Standard Features and Upgrades for our Home Owners. I assisted more than 200 Homeowners in their selection of upgrades, the installation of those upgrades; and ultimately, delivering to them the home they dreamed of having!
When the property bubble burst, transitioning into Property Management, which had been a family business since the 1960s, seemed like an obvious move. There were afterall, many empty condos with Owners in need of an income stream. Thus my career in vacation rentals began! That ultimately progressed to helping people buy and sell income properties as well.
Now several years later, I have the pleasure of working as a BrokerOwner at Beach Time Realty Group in St. Pete Beach. We are a boutique operation focusing on quality. We have a healthy Property Management program for both short and long-term rentals. And, of course, I utilize my design and sales experience to help Buyers and Sellers not only buy or sell their property, but maximize income potential!
