I have 25 years in the real estate industry consisting of residential sales, mortgage lending, sales management and land development.
I started my real estate career in Denver, Colorado, in 1992, focusing on residential real estate. Early in my career, I seized an opportunity to work with a developer selling off a parcel of land subdivided into 1496 lots. This was a great introduction to the world of building even though we didnt perform construction, I needed to answer multiple construction questions before the conveyance of the land. When all the lots were sold, I resumed my focus on residential real estate and, almost by second nature by then, I developed many relationships with local builders. This gave me a stable business path and introduced me to numerous clients and transactions of all kinds. In 1996, in order to better service my clients, I started originating loans. In 1988, I opened my own lending company, Loanavations Lending Company.
In October of 2000, my husbands career in Government service presented him with a move to California, which I supported. I successfully transitioned my business and career focus to our new home city of San Diego. I placed my Colorado clients into good hands, carefully over time, and maintained my Colorado license as indeed Ive retained California licensure since transitioning my business once again. In San Diego, my experience and sales ability won me a Sales Management title, overseeing loan officers and real estate agents, even as I continued to develop my own business. Ultimately I left this situation to focus entirely on my business and my ever growing family of clients.
In 2009 my husband was transferred to SOCOM headquarters in Tampa at MacDill. It was difficult to leave yet another beautiful city, but I have to say we quickly fell in love with St. Petersburg. For a second time, I carefully placed clients in strong hands, and shifted my focus to a new coast (although I was already quite familiar with South Florida). In my first year working in residential real estate here, I performed as a Top 10 agent out of some 4,000 agents. My performance has consistently grown even stronger since, as word of mouth and client loyalty now add to my marketing efforts.

I love the practice of real estate and cant imagine doing anything differently. I love meeting new people and becoming a part of their lives. Whether it's helping them find their perfect home or sell their existing one, or helping build their financial portfolios, or working with the referrals they send me, it's all about helping, and making dreams come true!
I am only as good as the team behind me. It doesn't matter how many transactions I do - it always comes down to the network of experts I align myself with that makes me shine. The lenders, home inspectors, title companies, my broker and the office staff, and any number of others who have a part in making the process go smoothly - it takes many, and sometimes all, to make it happen.
You must have a proven strategy, effective exposure and focused collaboration to be successful in real estate, but especially a love of people and a love for what you do. I am extremely blessed!
