You may not know this, but in the Tampa Bay area alone there are over 16,000 agents! There are OVER A MILLION agents in Florida.

That means that I have a lot of competition. A LOT. It also means that I have to stand out from the rest of the pack. When you're competing against over 16K other agents, all with varying degrees of experience, number of houses sold, etc. You can really start to feel like you don't stand a chance, especially if you're competing with someone who has potentially sold hundreds of houses. I haven't sold hundreds of houses. I don't work with hundreds of people every year. While I am a "people person," there is not enough Xanax in the world for me to work with hundreds of clients in a year.

Some agents treat real estate like a numbers game. It's all about volume. It's about getting the listing. It's about getting it sold and then before the ink is dry, moving on to the next transaction. It's not like that for me. Yeah, I sell houses, but there's more to it than that. Your house? It's just the MacGuffin.

Okay, so I've probably confused you. Let me explain. The term MacGuffin was coined by Alfred Hitchcock. It is the object that the whole story revolves around. Star Wars A New Hope is about Luke Skywalker trying to save Princess Leia from the evil Empire; The Big Lebowski- the rug that really ties the room together. The MacGuffin moves the story forward, but those movies I mentioned? It's not what the film is about. Star Wars is about Luke Skywalker. The Big Lebowski is about Lebowski.

Those movies are about their relationships with the MacGuffin. Luke succeeds in his quest as does Lebowski, but it's how they got there that is important. Not that selling your house isn't important - it's a huge part of the process! It's just not what it's all about. So, what is it all about? It's about adding value to YOUR LIFE! What can I do to help YOU achieve your goals? I'm here to help you be comfortable throughout the process. I make it a point to help as much as I can, in whatever way I can.

What a lot of agents who sell a high amount of volume forget is that this is all about relationships and building relationships is not easy to do when you're working with hundreds of people at a time. They simply see dollar signs. I see you, I see your goals, your dreams and what you want to accomplish.
