One Nest Georgia is preparing a new way home, with the industrys first Full Service, Flat Fee Real Estate model. The concept of One Nest Georgia was born 6 years ago when a coworker and I were working together at Hewlett Packard. The real estate industry has changed so much over the years, while the commission structure for sellers has remained relatively untouched. Whether you are selling a five hundred thousand dollar home, or a million dollar home, the process and effort is almost identical. Yet, the seller of the million home pays twice as much under the percentage commission structure. Why pay more just because your home is worth more? Great question, and at One Nest Georgia we dont think that should be the case.
Flat Fee is only half the equation. Pre-listing services are included to help prep the home for a quick sale and to maximize the selling price for our clients. Whether that means landscape tune up, house cleaning, floor cleaning, or all the above, we diagnose and provide the services that will most benefit each home we list. We also include professional photography with every home. Going this extra mile results in fewer days on the market with higher yield to our clients. Some people hear Flat Fee and think that means less effort on our part. That could not be further from the truth. Just ask our past clients!
Prior to being licensed real estate professionals, my wife and I worked in the corporate world as professionals in our fields. Shes a CPA, and Im an MBA with experience ranging from Custom home building to managing cross-functional worldwide teams in the fast-paced IT industry. As we worked with some highly recommended realtors to buy or sell our own homes, we couldnt help but feel as though we were seen more as a payday than as a client with unique goals and expectations. Why not bring that same level of professionalism that is expected in fortune 500 companies to the real estate industry, while treating our clients with the care and respect we would want our own families treated with? That is the care and perspective with which we approach every client.
When we arent out working with clients, my wife and I are busy raising our 3 kids and spending family time outdoors in and around the Milton area at local parks and trails.
