A licensed Realtor in Georgia and South Carolina, Sam has 13 years of experience marketing and selling over 95M in real estate, from luxury homes and villas in the Caribbean, in Bluffton, SC and Savannah, GA representing clients throughout the area. Originally from Dallas, TX, Sam received his BBA from Baylor University in Waco, TX; an MBA, Finance from SMU in Dallas; and the PhD, Strategic Management, from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. Prior to real estate, Sam was an investment Banker in Texas advising municipal clients in their issuance of over 2B in bonds and notes; later serving as an Associate Vice Provost of Purdue University and as Founding Director of Purdues number 1-ranked technology-ventures incubator. As strategy consultant, board member, and advisor, Sam has assisted new-venture companies in biotech, scientific-instrumentation, software development, transportation, aviation, construction, and technology development, and as board member of the Venture Club of Indiana. He launched two technology-development companies in Indiana, while teaching Competitive Strategy, Advanced Managerial Finance, Leadership and Supervision, Technology Management and Entrepreneurship as Adjunct Professor at Purdue and Indiana Wesleyan Universities. As a result, Sam is often conversant in the business and technical fields of his clients, assisting them in identifying luxury homes that suit their lifestyles and professional priorities in life. Sam and his wife Laurie, also a Realtor, have a daughter and son-in law living in Mt. Pleasant, SC. They are delighted to be serving their clients in the purchase and sale of their residences throughout this historic, artistic, life-style mecca, characterizing the Lowcountry as the best, most enjoyable and most dynamic place Ive ever lived. Forty years after playing his acoustic guitar as a solo act and in a band in college he still enjoys sitting in for the occasional jam session!
