Building community is important to me and I always look forward to introducing new homeowners to all that the Lake Country has to offer. As a board member and volunteer at Oconee Regional Humane Society I also enjoy helping people adopt a furry family member once they are in their new home. Two of my 3 Black Lab mixes are rescues and so is Noc, short for Not Our Cat, who has been happily our cat for 3 plus years. Animals are not my only passion, I advocate and fundraise for our local schools with the annual tethered balloon rides in the Iconic RE/MAX Balloon being a fan favorite.
My family and I reside at Reynolds Lake Oconee & Great Waters where we enjoy boating, fishing and getting together with friends to watch the sunset. There is always so much to do in the lake area, ask any of my clients and they will tell you they hired a Realtor but gained a friend. I want everyone I work with to feel like they found a home, not just a place to live. A favorite memory is of Jessica, who moved to the area from Alaska with her husband, young son and daughter on the way. She took her car in for service and rapidly realized she needed a ride home. Not knowing who to call Jessica will tell you she took a chance and called that lady who sold them their new home. 15 years later Jessica and I still stay in touch. And, if you ever need an amazing cake I will send you her contact at her new bakery. I like to think my job is not only to sell houses, but to connect the dots that bring people home.
