Chris McAndrew was born and raised in Georgia, and has been an active member of his community for many years now. He graduated from Oconee County High School, and then from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville with a broadcast journalism degree. After college he spent several years as a television reporter and occasional anchor at WNEG NewsChannel 32, which was a former CBS television station in Toccoa.
In 2011 Chris started McAndrew Lawn Care which continues to operate to this day.
Chris and Heather met through Facebook in early 2017 when Heather was still living in Michigan. By the end of that year they were married at Faith Presbyterian Church in Watkinsville where Chriss dad, Bob, was the pastor at the time.
Heather helped Chris grow McAndrew Lawn Care for several years. It was through that company where they learned how to work together as a team in business. They have also run the YouTube channel McAndrew Travels for several years together.
Chris kept talking about how much he loved the idea of a career in real estate, and eventually Heather was actually the first to take the leap, getting her real estate degree in 2021. She found great joy in helping several clients buy and sell houses and land in her first two years in real estate, and she was eventually able to convince Chris to get his degree as well!
Heather was already a proud member of the Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners team, and Chris decided to join her and form a team of their own, The McAndrew Team. Over the years Chris and Heather have found they love working together in business, so it just made sense to do so in real estate as well.
Chris carries the values of hard work, integrity, and outstanding client service he used while growing McAndrew Lawn Care into everything he does now in real estate.
When Chris isnt making homeownership dreams come true for his clients, he enjoys spending time binging Netflix, taking part in church activities and traveling. Chris lives in Nicholson with his wife Heather and their rescue cats. They continue to attend Faith Presbyterian Church in Watkinsville.
