He was an auto mechanic specializing in Rolls Royce and Bentley motorcars for 18 years, until arthritis forced him to switch careers. After being involved with several real estate transactions, he decided that a career in real estate might be just what he needed. Today Im in the process of completing the environmental cleanup of an old gas station to ultimately house a neighborhood gathering space and real estate office where people can come hang out, search the Internet for homes and visit with our sales staff.Being able to jump when a buyer wishes to preview a property in person will be possible with this centrally located office. Situated on the corner of Rutledge Avenue and Race Street, Walkers new venture features a large open space with oversized, comfortable chairs and wireless Internet services.In spite of the negative media, the real estate market is alive, Walker says.
