Selina Sturgis was born in Valdosta, GA at Moody Air Force Base while her father was proudly serving in the United States Air Force. When he retired, he moved his family back to Valdosta to call home. Selina was an honor graduate from Lowndes County High School, then proceeded to earn her Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Social Work from Valdosta State Universtiy. Prior to her sales career, Selina spent over 16 years working with children and their families at the Department of Family and Children Services and the Valdosta Board of Education. She served on the Child Fatality Review Board and Georgia County Welfare Association board. She has over 20 years of sales experience servicing the Valdosta, Lake Park, Lakeland, Quitman, Hahira, Ray City, and Moody Air Force Base areas. Selina is an active member of the South Georgia MLS, Inc. Selina is married to Glenn Sturgis and they have three daughters. Brittany, who is 33, and has 2 children - Noah age 7 and Piper age 5. Bobbie, who is 32, is married to James Couch who is an A-10 pilot in the USAF. They have 2 children Hayden age 7 and Sawyer age 2. Billijean, who is 29, is married to Chad Smith and they have 2 children. Landon who is in Heaven and Jaxon age 18 months. All three daughters were born and raised in Valdosta. Selina has been in the Valdosta area since her father retired from the United States Air Force over 40 years ago.
