Teressas family has deep roots in White County. Her grandparents settled here in the 1920s and her family continued to call Helen home until the late 1950s. Teressa spent her early years in the Northwest Georgia Mountains, but her childhood summers found her on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, on her grandparents farm near downtown Helen. Today she resides on a portion of that family farm with her husband Bill and her sons T.C. and Michael. Helen has been home again, for the past 22 years. It was always her goal to raise her family in Helen and she says, I got back as soon as I could.
Teressa has been a licensed real estate agent since 1984. She seriously entered the real estate profession in 1998. Her previous work experience in property development, E911 Mapping and as a Real Estate Acquisition Specialist for the state further developed her skills as a competent Real Estate Sales Associate. She is an honor graduate from Piedmont College with a BA in Business Management and is a state registered real estate appraiser.
