Rincon is a city in Effingham County, Georgia, located between Savannah and Statesboro. It has a population of approximately 10,000 people and is primarily a residential community with a small commercial center. Rincon is known for its family-friendly environment, excellent schools, and affordable housing. The city offers several parks and recreational areas, including the Rincon City Park, Wisenbaker Community Park, and the Lost Plantation Golf Course, which is a championship golf course designed by Donald Ross. Rincon is also home to several annual events, including the Rincon Christmas Parade and the Freedom Rings Festival, which celebrates Independence Day.
