Powder Springs is located in the northern part of Georgia and is divided between two counties: Cobb and Paulding. It covers an area of about 7 square miles and has a population of around 15,000 people.
The city has a rich history dating back to the early 1800s. It was named after its seven springs, which were used to make gunpowder during the Civil War. Today, Powder Springs is a growing city with a vibrant downtown district, numerous parks and recreational facilities, and a strong sense of community.
Some popular attractions in Powder Springs include the Silver Comet Trail, Old Powder Springs Park, and the Seven Springs Museum. The city also hosts several events throughout the year, including the annual Powder Springs Summer Concert Series and Halloween Walk.
