She has also been recognized as the Building Industry Associations (BIA Hawaii) Associate of the Year, PBNs 40 under 40 and a Business Person of the Year finalist. Kay served two terms on the Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA). Recently, the Girl Scouts Council of Hawaii has selected Kay as a Distinction honoree. This prestigious recognition is awarded to those who have made a considerable contribution to our community. In March 2017, Kay will be honored at the Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary Distinction Gala.
