Misti was born and raised in the Silicon Valley so naturally she has a love for technology, start up companies and all things cutting edge. Her love of technology fueled her 11 year career with AT&T where she was part of the most exciting developments in modern day technology. She attended Arizona State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Global Business and then continued on to achieve her Masters of Business Administration from Chaminade University of Honolulu.

Misti and her husband decided that as they grew their family the best choice for them would be to settle in Hawaii and since her husband was born and raised on The Big Island that is where they decided to plant their roots. With limited jobs in the technology sector in her new home Misti soon realized that real estate was her calling and would be her next career step. She secured a job as the Sales and Marketing Manager for a major real estate office on the island in 2013 and then obtained her real estate license in 2014.

In March of 2018 she ventured out and opened Iokua Real Estate, Inc - Hilo Office where she was able to join a team that shared her same love of technology and cutting edge tools to help make the real estate transaction seamless for both the agent and the client.

Over the years she has fallen in love with everything about real estate! She enjoys being an integral part of assisting people with one of the most significant financial transactions in their lifetime. She is understanding of the fact that a real estate purchase is usually tied to a major life event like marriage, new job, new business or retirement and she feels extremely lucky to be a part of so many people's lives and help guide them through the process to make sure their dreams become a reality.
